How can arbitration respond effectively to the present and future challenges of today's world?
The Commercial Arbitration Center of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be hosting its 18th Annual Congress on 2, 3, and 4 July 2025. As with previous editions, the programme will include a segment for participants under 40, organised by the CAC Future Committee and APA Sub-40, scheduled for the afternoon of 2 July.
This year's congress will focus on the central theme "How can arbitration respond effectively to the present and future challenges of today's world?". Topics of great significance will be discussed, including the multi-door dispute resolution system, precautionary measures and emergency arbitration, scrutiny of the arbitral award, and the feasibility of fast-track arbitration.
The event will be attended by distinguished speakers, from both Portugal and abroad, to enhance the discussion and analysis of these topics.
